Who answers the telephone
In a cross-border purchase, the difference between a file that moves and a file that stalls is almost always one person. This page says who that person is in each market, what they did before, and how to reach them directly.
Each consultant is assigned to one market, has a direct number and holds the file from beginning to end. There is no contact centre and no rota that passes enquiries around.
The profiles are not published yet
The team is being built market by market, and no profile is published before the person's name, background, completed transaction count and direct line are confirmed.
We would rather show an empty page than generic faces and biographies without facts. It is the same rule we apply to property and to the firm's own figures: what is not verified is not published.
What each profile contains
When a consultant joins, the profile is published complete. These are the fields, and the reason each one is there.

| Portrait | Natural light, neutral ground, 4:5, eyes to camera. This is the only place on the site where people appear. |
| Name, role and market | So you know whose file it is and in which jurisdiction that person works every day. |
| Languages spoken | The language of the negotiation and the language of the contract are rarely the same. It is worth knowing which one you can use. |
| Years active and completed transactions | Two verifiable figures rather than a description of experience. Where we do not hold the figure, the field does not appear. |
| Two sentences of background | Each carrying a specific fact: where they worked, in which market, on what kind of mandate. |
| Direct line and email | The consultant's own telephone, not a switchboard. The person who answers is the person who handles the file. |
| A professional record that can be checked away from this site, by anyone who wishes to check it. |
The Journal's authorship rule
No article in the Journal is published without the byline of a person who has a profile on this page. A piece on tax, residency or the market with no identifiable author has nobody answering for it.
Every byline resolves to the consultant's profile on this page, and it is that profile which stands behind what the article states.
